Text inputs stay local
Every fancy-text generator, writing utility, and novelty translator on WordCraft runs in your browser. The bio you are decorating, the caption you are counting words for, the prompt you are converting to Morse, the Discord-handle styles you are previewing — all of it is processed locally. None of these text inputs are transmitted to a server controlled by the publisher, and none are stored, logged, or attached to an identifier on our side.
What is collected automatically
Standard request metadata is collected by Cloudflare (CDN) and Google Analytics 4 (measurement): IP address, user-agent, requested URL, referring URL, response timing, and a pseudonymous GA4 identifier used for session grouping. We do not attach the contents of any text you ran through a tool to analytics events; GA4 events fire on a page-view and on a generic “style_applied” or “tool_used” action without the source text.
Cookies and advertising
WordCraft is supported by display advertising served through Google AdSense. AdSense and its partners may set cookies for delivery, frequency capping, measurement, and invalid-traffic detection. In jurisdictions requiring explicit consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland, California), a consent banner gates personalization; declining still allows non-personalized ads. Personalized advertising can be controlled at Google Ads Settings.
Local browser storage
A small consent record is stored in your browser’s localStorage so the consent banner does not reappear on every visit. Some tools also save your most recent settings (selected fancy-text style, case preference, count units) locally for convenience. Clearing site data for wordcraft.tools removes both.
Children
WordCraft is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the analytics layer does not capture the contents of any text pasted into a tool.
Your rights
Residents of the EU, EEA, UK, and California may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal information processed about them. Because WordCraft does not retain identifying inputs from the tools, most rights requests will route to Google or Cloudflare as the recipient of the underlying data.
